Panasonic previewed its new 2010 line of plasma and LCD TVs at CES in January, including the premiere of Full HD 3D television. This spring you will be able to find these exciting new Panasonic TVs at Wilshire Home Entertainment.
Building upon the award winning 2009 line of HDTVs, Panasonics new 2010 models offer improved picture quality, expanded internet functionality via VieraCast, improved power consumption to meet more stringent Energy Star 4.0 requirements, and the addition of Full HD 3D on select televisions.
Panasonics initial Full HD 3D televisions will be available in the spring of 2010 with five models in the VT25 series (pictured). The VT25 series includes four screen sizes ranging from 50-inches to 65-inches. Features include one pair of 3D glasses included, enhanced VieraCast streaming content portal, USB connectivity, wireless LAN adaptor, SD memory card slot, PC input, THX certification, and an Infinite Black Pro display with 5,000,000:1 native contrast.
The new Viera G25 series includes four screen sizes ranging from 42-inches to 54-inches. Features include VieraCast functionality, THX certification, SD memory card slot, PC input, two USB ports and an Infinite Black display with 5,000,000:1 native contrast ratio. The improved contrast ratio over last years G10 series is the big story. The G25 promises to display blacks that are deeper and more realistic. Part of this is due to the G25s superior antiglare screen, but the new 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio deserves most of the credit.
Also coming soon to Wilshire is the mainstream S2 series of televisions and entry-level C2 series of televisions. The S2 series is available in 6 screen sizes ranging from 42-inch to 65-inch and includes 1080p full HD, a dynamic contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1, improved anti-reflective filter, and a clean touch (non-glossy) bezel. The 720p C2 series will be available in three sizes ranging from 42-inch to 50-inch.
