The Pioneer Elite Kuro line of plasma televisions earned an unmatched reputation for being some of the best sets ever made. But to the dismay of many in 2009, Pioneer announced it would leave the television business.
That all changed recently when Sharp announced a partnership with Pioneer to bring back the Pioneer Elite brand name for a line of high-end LCD televisions, which will launch later this year. The new sets will sell through Pioneers authorized Elite dealer network alongside its Elite line of home-theater products, which include A/V receivers and Blu-ray players.
Pioneer says it will partner with Sharp to develop LCD televisions that carry on the legacy of the Pioneer Kuro series in terms of high picture and sound quality.
As Wilshire is a Pioneer Elite dealer, look for these great new Televisions at Wilshire Home Entertainment in the near future.
